Finance Team Leader – Global Accounting

About the role

As a Team Leader within Ocorian’s Global Accounting team, you will lead high‑quality financial reporting and accounting operations across multiple international jurisdictions. You will combine technical accounting expertise with people leadership to support business growth, strengthen controls, and deliver accurate accounting, tax and regulatory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of jurisdictions, delivering management accounts and performance analysis.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on IFRS, policies and reporting requirements.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end reporting, statutory accounts, tax reporting and regulatory submissions.
• Partner with auditors, regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth audit and compliance processes.
• Lead balance‑sheet reviews, cash‑flow reporting and financial controls to maintain data integrity.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation and efficiency initiatives.
• Coach, support and develop team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
• Contribute to global finance transformation projects and centralisation of finance processes.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting or related professional services.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, management accounting, statutory reporting, tax and VAT principles.
• Experience supporting reporting, audit and accounting across multiple entities or jurisdictions.
