General Manager – FMCG Operations

About the role

BrandActiv is seeking a visionary General Manager to lead its Mauritius FMCG operations into the next phase of growth. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for shaping strategy, driving profitability and championing business transformation across commercial, supply‑chain and people functions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a business strategy that delivers sustainable growth, market leadership and profitability.
• Lead transformation initiatives such as digitalisation, process optimisation, ERP ecosystem enhancement, data‑driven decision‑making and AI‑enabled efficiencies.
• Own full P&L accountability, including budgeting, forecasting, working‑capital optimisation and trade‑investment ROI.
• Strengthen sales, distribution, trade marketing, customer service, logistics and route‑to‑market capabilities.
• Identify new business opportunities, emerging consumer trends and strategic partnerships.
• Drive operational excellence in warehousing, inventory management and supply‑chain optimisation.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with principals, suppliers, distributors and key customers locally and internationally.
• Foster a high‑performance culture through KPI governance, talent development, succession planning and leadership coaching.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in FMCG or related fast‑moving consumer goods sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full P&L and deliver profitable growth.
• Strong track record of leading digital and operational transformation projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience building strategic partnerships.
• Ability to inspire and develop high‑performing, cross‑functional teams.
