HR & Payroll Associate Consultant

About the role

The HR & Payroll Associate Consultant will join TMF Group’s payroll division, providing technical and commercial support to international clients operating in France. Reporting to senior staff, you will ensure high‑quality payroll processing, social reporting and compliance for a diverse portfolio of accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Execute regular payroll runs and prepare social reporting for client files.
• Enter and integrate variable pay items, including due‑diligence and anomaly processing.
• Onboard new employees: set up DUE, affiliate with social organisations, and create records in Silae.
• Handle employee exits: complete files, calculate termination payments, issue work certificates and liaise with STC and Pôle Emploi.
• Validate payroll, coordinate fund transfers and supervise the preparation of Urssaf statements, pension, provident, mutual and occupational‑medicine contributions.
• Issue pay certificates for sickness, maternity and workplace accidents within legal deadlines.
• Prepare year‑end returns and tax filings.
• Configure client files in Silae, manage memberships to relevant caisses, ensure collective‑agreement compliance and keep up‑to‑date with labour‑law changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of payroll consulting experience in an outsourcing environment.
• Proactive, customer‑focused attitude with the ability to work independently.
• Strong organisational skills and meticulous documentation practices.
• Fluent written and spoken French and English.
• Team‑spirit and willingness to follow supervisor instructions.
