Junior Accountant

About the role

Tenfa Company Ltd is seeking a part‑qualified accountant to join its Finance team. Working closely with the Head Accountant, you will support day‑to‑day financial operations in a fast‑moving FMCG and retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise sales invoicing, returns and a team of accounts clerks.
• Review debtor ageing reports and chase overdue accounts.
• Perform stock counts, reconciliations and control‑account matching.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, remittance advices and VAT returns.
• Compile weekly and monthly management accounts and audit files.
• Handle MRA reporting and other statutory requirements.

Required profile

• ACCA part‑qualified.
• Previous experience as a Junior/Assistant Accountant in FMCG, food manufacturing, retail or distribution.
• Proven ability to manage or supervise a small team.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting).
• Proficiency with SAGE accounting software.
• Competent use of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
