Room Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Join the housekeeping team at Constance Le Chaland, a luxury resort on Mauritius' pristine south‑eastern coast. As a Room Attendant you will ensure guest rooms are immaculate, well‑stocked and ready to deliver the refined hospitality experience the brand is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Remove and replace all linen, ensuring it is clean, undamaged and correctly stored.
• Clear trash, personal items and any debris from rooms after guest departure.
• Restock bathroom amenities, mini‑bar items and pantry supplies.
• Inspect and report on the condition of electrical appliances, air‑conditioning, plumbing fixtures and other room equipment.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, extra‑bed arrangements and any complaints, maintaining the brand’s service standards.
• Maintain accurate records of key cards, housekeeping logs and stock levels.
• Follow health, safety and fire emergency procedures, reporting hazards or incidents immediately.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education; hospitality or cleaning certifications are a plus.
• At least one year of experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably in a luxury resort.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English, with additional language skills considered an advantage.

Required skills

• Operation of industrial cleaning equipment.
