SAP ABAP Developer

About the role

Accenture is looking for a motivated SAP ABAP Developer to join its growing SAP team in Mauritius. You will work closely with clients to translate business needs into effective SAP solutions and contribute to the delivery of high‑value projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications on the SAP platform using ABAP.
• Write clean code for new functionalities and fix bugs in existing code.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Document software design, configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
• Participate in training and ramp‑up activities to build SAP ABAP expertise.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Computing or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills in French.
• Eagerness to work in a team‑oriented environment and learn quickly.

Required skills

• Experience with at least one programming language such as Java, C++, C# or Python.
• Understanding of object‑oriented programming concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases like MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle SQL or PostgreSQL.
• Willingness to learn SAP ABAP (training provided).
