Security Analyst I

About the role

As a Security Analyst I at Checkout.com you will join a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) that protects a global fintech platform handling billions of transactions each year. You will actively hunt, triage, and neutralise threats in real time, ensuring the integrity of our payment ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively monitor alerts using Azure Sentinel (SIEM) and respond to security incidents.
• Utilise Wiz and Qualys to discover misconfigurations and vulnerabilities.
• Analyse threat feeds and adapt defenses against fintech‑specific attack vectors.
• Manage and optimise SentinelOne for endpoint visibility and protection.
• Audit and secure access patterns in Okta and Active Directory, applying a Zero Trust approach.
• Support PCI DSS and SOC2 audits through evidence collection and control validation.
• Analyse Netskope traffic to detect data exfiltration or anomalous user behaviour.
• Provide 24/7 coverage on a rotational shift basis, acting as the first point of contact and escalating high‑priority incidents.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a Security Analyst or in a comparable role, preferably in tech or fintech.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM tools, endpoint protection platforms, and vulnerability scanners.
• Basic understanding of cloud security (AWS) and network security concepts.
• Familiarity with PCI DSS and SOC2 compliance requirements.
