Senior Accounts Manager (SVP) – Fund Accounting

About the role

The Senior Accounts Manager (SVP) at Apex Group is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of fund accounting portfolios in Mauritius. You will own accuracy, timelines, client servicing and control while acting as the primary point of contact for clients and audit teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery of NAVs, regulatory filings and client reporting across multiple portfolios.
• Ensure strict adherence to deadlines, service level agreements and audit readiness.
• Perform final review and sign‑off on NAV calculations, fee computations, investor transactions, financial statements (IFRS/GAAP) and tax computations.
• Manage client queries, expectations and issue resolution to maintain a high‑quality client experience.
• Lead audit, tax and compliance interactions, ensuring AML/KYC documentation is complete.
• Oversee Account Managers, allocating work, monitoring deadlines and guaranteeing quality before submission.
• Control fund wires, subscriptions/redemptions, fee settlements and debtor accounts.
• Drive process efficiency, strengthen review mechanisms and uphold operational discipline.

Required profile

• 10–14+ years of experience in fund accounting.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA or equivalent.
• Proven track record of delivery ownership and senior client handling.
• In‑depth knowledge of laws and regulations governing Global Business Companies (GBCs).

Required skills

• Hands‑on expertise in NAV calculations and fee computation.
• Fund accounting operations including investor transactions and fund wires.
• Financial reporting under IFRS and GAAP.
• Tax computation experience (PAYE, TDS, filings).
• Audit, tax and compliance handling with AML/KYC adherence.
