Senior Client Accountant

About the role

The Apex Group is seeking a Senior Client Accountant to manage a portfolio of fund administration clients. You will ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery of financial outputs while supporting the team’s compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day management of client portfolios, meeting SLA commitments and internal policies.
• Plan, coordinate and complete NAV calculations, management reporting, and statutory reporting for multiple structures.
• Review bookkeeping, monthly, quarterly and annual NAVs, management accounts, and statutory financial statements.
• Assist specialised services teams with financial reporting, ensuring efficient operation and legal compliance.
• Prepare and present management reports, KPIs and dashboards.
• Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues and client complaints.
• Develop and implement client‑specific reporting procedures aligned with local law and GAAP.
• Support process improvements, automation initiatives and new process implementations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
• Participate in client meetings, new‑business pitches and proposal development.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• 6‑7 years of post‑qualification experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong technical expertise in financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
