Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

Apex Group is seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join its global fund administration team. You will work directly with clients, auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate accounting, tax compliance and timely reporting for a range of investment funds.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Prepare statutory and periodic accounts and tax returns for client funds.
• Coordinate with independent auditors and manage audit requests.
• Execute bank transfers, subscriptions and redemption files for client companies.
• Assist in the preparation of NAV files and support regulatory/compliance activities.
• Provide ad‑hoc assistance to supervisors and colleagues on client matters.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the fund industry.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, accurate, willing to learn and able to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue.
