Senior Fund Accountant – Open Ended

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant specialized in fund accounting to join our global team. You will support directors, managers and administrators while delivering accurate financial statements and management accounts for complex, open‑ended client portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of an allocated portfolio of fund clients and ensure timely delivery of bookkeeping entries, financial statements and management accounts.
• Prepare and post final journal entries for complex entities and perform detailed reconciliations (investments, cash, VAT, bank).
• Liaise with clients to meet service expectations and provide high‑quality deliverables.
• Review and coach junior team members on their work, including VAT returns and reconciliations.
• Support the team with policy implementation, process improvements and ad‑hoc projects.
• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with the relevant accounting standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fund accounting, preferably with open‑ended structures.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Ability to review complex client deliverables and guide junior staff.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
