Senior Manager, Corporate & Funds

About the role

Praxis is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Corporate & Funds business in Mauritius. The role combines operational oversight of fund administration with senior responsibility for the office’s governance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day administration of close‑ended funds across the full lifecycle, from launch to wind‑down.
• Oversee fund accounting activities, including general ledger review, journal entries, reconciliations, capital‑account maintenance, NAV/valuation reporting and periodic financial statements.
• Manage investor operations such as capital calls, drawdowns, distributions, onboarding and query handling.
• Review and approve quarterly, semi‑annual and annual reporting packages for clients, boards and investors.
• Coordinate year‑end audits, tax reporting deliverables and act as primary liaison with auditors.
• Ensure compliance with authorisations, work closely with senior management and compliance teams, and act as the resident Director of Praxis Mauritius.
• Develop and grow new service lines, building a team to meet budgetary and growth targets.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in fund administration across real estate, private equity, private credit or other alternative assets.
• Proven senior‑level leadership, capable of acting as a registered director and overseeing office administration.
• Strong understanding of governance, regulatory compliance and service‑delivery frameworks.
