Senior Tax Consultant

About the role

The Apex Group, a global fund administration and middle‑office solutions provider, is seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to join its Mauritius team. You will be responsible for reviewing tax computations, ensuring timely filing of returns and providing technical tax support to client service units.

Key responsibilities

• Review tax, PAYE, TDS, CSG and VAT computations and prepare returns for clients.
• Coordinate internal teams to ensure quarterly and annual tax filings are submitted on time.
• Monitor client tax compliance, produce KPI reports and maintain taxation processes.
• Provide technical support on tax matters, draft tax rulings, and liaise with the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA).
• Conduct applied research on domestic and international tax issues and update tax procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years experience in the global business sector with exposure to various vehicle structures.
• Degree or substantial progress towards ACA/ACCA qualification.
• Strong knowledge of Mauritius tax dispute and resolution processes and ability to liaise with tax authorities.
• Proven ability to draft technical memos, tax rulings and written representations.
