Solutions Manager – Lead Development Team

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Solutions Manager to lead a team of developers within the Innovation Solutions team at Dayforce. This role blends technical leadership, people management, and solution delivery, focused on building tools, automations, and scalable solutions that support internal teams such as Services, Implementation, Customer Success, and Support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Drive the design and delivery of scalable tools, automations, and solutions for multiple internal business functions.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from ideation through deployment and ongoing support.
• Partner with stakeholders across Services, Implementation, Customer Success, and Support to identify opportunities and deliver value‑driven solutions.
• Translate business challenges into technical solutions and guide the team through execution.
• Establish and enforce best practices in architecture, coding standards, testing, and deployment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing and leading software development teams.
• Strong technical background with hands‑on experience in Python, C#, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React).
• Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly Azure infrastructure.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their practical application in business solutions.
• Solid understanding of modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, APIs, JSON, etc.).
• Strong experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
