Staff Accountant

About the role

The Staff Accountant will join the Finance team at Four Seasons Mauritius, supporting the financial operations of a luxury resort and residential community. This position works closely with the Assistant Director of Finance and other department managers to ensure accurate payroll, accounts payable, and cash handling.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain harmonious and professional relationships with all hotel departments and the corporate Home Office.
• Assist the Assistant Director of Finance in upholding internal controls and safeguarding hotel assets.
• Support department managers on labor standards, payroll issues, and related financial matters.
• Direct and supervise payroll processing, accounts payable, and general cashiering activities as directed by senior finance leadership.
• Contribute to the development of Finance Department staff to support future company growth.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of hospitality finance processes and internal control standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
• Commitment to complying with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
