Steward – Hotel Housekeeping & Dishwashing

About the role

Join Constance Belle Mare Plage, a leading luxury resort in Mauritius, as a Steward. You will play a key part in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation across the kitchen and dining areas, supporting both guests and the operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the assigned work area, including kitchen premises.
• Operate dishwashing and pot‑wash equipment, ensuring all utensils and equipment are clean and ready for use.
• Store equipment in designated locations and manage waste disposal, including clearing bins and reporting breakages.
• Conduct inventory checks of amenities and supplies, reporting any shortages or equipment faults promptly.
• Adhere to health, safety, fire, and environmental regulations, supporting the resort’s Green Globe policy.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education; additional training or certificates in hospitality is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a luxury resort.
• Food handler certificate (mandatory).
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, reliably and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional language skills are a plus.
