Butler Manager

About the role

The Butler Manager leads a dedicated Butler team to deliver premium, personalized service to guests in luxury hospitality settings such as hotels, resorts, or cruise lines. This role ensures that every guest interaction meets brand standards of excellence and that the in‑suite experience is flawless.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of exceptional butler services, ensuring all guest orders, requests, and enquiries are handled promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct embarkation inspections of VIP suites and guarantee that in‑suite arrival procedures follow brand standards.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop the Butler team to achieve superior service performance.
• Mentor the Senior Butler, preparing them for future managerial responsibilities.
• Monitor and achieve brand‑defined performance targets and key performance indicators for the Butler team.

Required profile

• Minimum of two years of Butler or guest‑facing experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or cruise line environment.
• Professional Butler or luxury service certification (e.g., International Butler Academy) is an advantage.
• Previous shipboard experience is highly preferred.
• Fluent English (verbal and written) with excellent communication skills.
• Additional language abilities (French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Mandarin, Arabic, Japanese) are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities to manage a culturally diverse workforce.
