Customer Support Associate – Data Entry (EU)

About the role

The Customer Support Associate – Data Entry (EU) provides front‑line assistance to customers, handling inquiries, processing purchase orders, and ensuring smooth order fulfillment. Working under moderate supervision, the associate acts as a liaison between customers, internal teams, suppliers, and sales representatives to achieve high satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound sales and customer communications via phone and email.
• Own the full customer request lifecycle from initiation to resolution.
• Process orders, handle delivery, billing, cancellations, releases, and EDI block releases.
• Utilise multiple internal systems to research information and update order status.
• Coordinate with the sales force, suppliers, and internal departments to address pricing, documentation, and issue escalation.
• Identify improvement opportunities and recommend process enhancements.
• Provide backup support for the Team Leader and mentor new associates.
• Handle escalated customer issues and coach associates on resolution techniques.

Required profile

• Ability to work under moderate supervision while delivering accurate, timely support.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with customers, internal teams, and external partners.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude and focus on customer satisfaction.
• Capability to follow performance metrics such as schedule adherence and productivity standards.
• Willingness to assist in training, process guidance, and occasional backup duties.
