Senior Relationship Manager – Premier Banking

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager will join the Premier Team to manage, grow and retain a portfolio of high‑net‑worth Premier customers for Absa Mauritius. You will be the primary point of contact, delivering a best‑in‑market client experience while driving revenue and cross‑selling opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, manage and expand a portfolio of Premier customers, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
• Identify and pursue cross‑selling opportunities across the bank’s product suite.
• Generate new business by researching and targeting potential high‑net‑worth clients.
• Handle customer complaints and continuously improve service quality.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the Absa Group to maximise sales opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal and internal risk policies.
• Monitor financial performance of the portfolio and devise growth strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in relationship management, sales and business development within banking or financial services.
• Strong track record of achieving revenue targets and growing client portfolios.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build long‑term client relationships.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the banking sector.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
