Accounts Trainee – 1 Year Fixed-Term Role

About the role

BrandActiv is seeking a motivated Accounts Trainee to support its Finance Department for a one-year fixed-term contract. The role offers hands-on experience in accounting operations within a fast-moving consumer goods environment across several African markets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Support invoicing, filing, and reconciliation tasks.
• Help prepare financial reports and related documents.
• Handle administrative duties for the Finance Department.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of records.

Required profile

• HSC or equivalent qualification.
• Diploma or certificate in Accounting or Finance is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity.
• Willingness to collaborate across departments.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
