About the role
The Head Waiter will lead the dining team at One&Only Le Saint Géran’s Steak House, delivering warm, efficient service that reflects the resort’s high standards. This role combines front‑of‑house leadership with hands‑on service to ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise, train and schedule wait staff during shifts.
- Set tables with correct china, glassware, silverware and linen promptly.
- Welcome guests, present menus, suggest courses and beverages, and answer menu‑related questions.
- Monitor service flow, resolve guest issues politely, and maintain high food and service quality.
- Coordinate with kitchen and outlet managers on cleaning, inventory checks and supply inspections.
- Report disciplinary matters or performance concerns to the GM/Head of Operations.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a supervisory wait‑staff role within a fine‑dining or upscale hotel restaurant.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, capable of representing the brand.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle demanding guest situations.
