About the role
The Level 1 Security Service Desk Specialist is the first point of contact for all security‑related incidents and service requests. You will diagnose, triage and resolve issues while delivering excellent customer service and supporting the organization’s security posture.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to and triage security incidents and alerts received via phone, email or ticketing system.
- Conduct initial diagnosis, categorize incidents by severity and escalate to Level 2/3 teams when needed.
- Handle security service requests such as user access provisioning, password resets and account modifications in line with security policies.
- Monitor security dashboards and alerts from various tools.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and actions, and generate regular security reports for management.
- Provide clear communication and timely resolution to end‑users, and educate them on security best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to improve overall security posture.
Required profile
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong customer‑orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Professional presentation and the ability to build relationships with clients and remote teams.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of networking concepts.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, SMTP, POP3, DNS and DHCP.
- Familiarity with firewalls, proxy servers and load balancers.
