Senior Accountant – Fund Accounting

About the role

This senior role offers the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of fund accounting clients while deepening expertise in complex accounting, financial reporting and client service. You will work closely with colleagues and management to deliver high‑quality financial information and support the growth of junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of fund accounting clients and build strong relationships.
• Prepare and review accounting records, complex reconciliations, management accounts and financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards and deadlines.
• Partner with clients and external auditors to ensure timely delivery of financial reporting and successful audit completion.
• Respond to client queries, resolve issues and support clients in meeting their reporting obligations.
• Review junior team members’ work, provide guidance and contribute to their professional development.
• Identify and support process improvements, knowledge sharing and best‑practice initiatives within the team.
