Senior Compliance Officer

About the role

CFI Financial Group is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to support the implementation and maintenance of its compliance framework. You will ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, AML/CFT obligations, and industry best practices across our multinational trading operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, licences, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct transaction monitoring, customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and ongoing monitoring reviews.
• Review high‑risk client files, manage escalations, and investigate suspicious activities.
• Perform sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening.
• Prepare and submit regulatory returns, reports, and support audits.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Finance, Business, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in compliance, AML/CFT, risk, or regulatory roles within the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of FSC Mauritius requirements, AML/CFT legislation, and regulatory expectations.
