Senior Executive – Client Services (Fund & Special License)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Executive to join our Client Services – Special License team. Reporting to the Manager – Client Services, you will manage a portfolio of funds, CIS managers, investment dealers and other special‑license entities, ensuring a consistently high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in opening bank accounts locally and internationally.
• Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely board and shareholder meeting documentation.
• Coach junior staff on complex regulatory matters.
• Draft capital calls, distribution notices and onboard new investors.
• Perform client due‑diligence (CDD) and support AML/CFT compliance.
• Liaise with service providers for business risk assessments and independent audits.
• Monitor DPO applications, FATCA and CRS reporting to the Mauritius Revenue Authority.
• Process payments, transaction monitoring and draft standard agreements.
• Conduct regular compliance reviews of company and trust files.
• Ensure prompt handling of correspondence and timely completion of timesheets.

Required profile

• Relevant degree (Management, Law, International Business, Finance).
• Minimum 5 years experience in the finance industry or global business sector.
• ACIS/ACCA qualification, party qualification, or STEP membership.
• Methodical, accurate work style with strong understanding of special‑license and fund structures.

Required skills

• Regulatory compliance (Financial Services Act 2007, Securities Act, FSC Handbook).
• FATCA and CRS reporting.
• AML/CFT procedures and client onboarding.
• Business risk assessment and transaction monitoring.
• Drafting of consultancy, loan and agency agreements.
