Client Accountant – International Services

About the role

TMF Group is seeking a Client Accountant to support its international clients establishing and developing their businesses in Belgium. Reporting to the Supervisor and under the technical guidance of a Senior Accountant, you will handle day‑to‑day accounting tasks and assist with more complex matters.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and control accounting information from clients.
• Perform bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, employee expenses and payroll statements.
• Prepare tax declarations (VAT and other Belgian taxes).
• Compile client reports and support the closing process, including preparatory work for financial statements.
• Interact with clients on routine matters and ensure timely reporting to senior staff.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting.
• 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong command of English and French (B2‑C1 level).
• High integrity, meticulous organization and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Belgian GAAP (advantageous).
