Senior Tax Compliance Specialist

About the role

Deloitte International Services, part of the Luxembourg extended team in Mauritius, is looking for a Senior Tax Compliance professional to support a portfolio of multinational groups and Luxembourg entities. You will work in a dynamic, multicultural environment, helping clients navigate complex tax issues and optimise their tax position.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns for Luxembourg companies operating in commercial, real estate, private equity and industrial sectors.
• Prepare statutory tax provisions and calculate consolidated current and deferred tax.
• Assist clients with the EU Pillar Two directive and Luxembourg legislation implementing Pillar Two.
• Analyse accounting information and clients' annual accounts.
• Handle correspondence from tax authorities, circulars, tax opinions and conduct legal research in tax codes and double‑taxation treaties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or Management.
• 2‑3 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to apply accounting and legal knowledge while continuing tax training.
• Organised, flexible and able to manage multiple files simultaneously.
• Team spirit, dynamism and strong interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English; working knowledge of French and/or German is an asset.

• Basic knowledge of Pillar Two rules (OECD/EU Directive)
