About the role
We are looking for a motivated Account and Admin Officer to join our team in Port Louis. The role focuses on managing accounts receivable, recording financial transactions and supporting internal and external stakeholders. You will work on‑site in a fast‑moving, customer‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the accounts receivable ledger and customer records.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue payments and outstanding accounts.
- Prepare and send statements of accounts (SOA) to clients.
- Perform account reconciliations and compile financial reports.
- Produce and update key financial statements such as Chart of Accounts, Trial Balance and Profit & Loss.
- Issue purchase orders when required and manage stock ageing records.
- Communicate with external stakeholders and support internal queries related to finance.
- Handle administrative formalities and other duties assigned by management.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance or ACCA (partially qualified acceptable).
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably handling accounts receivable.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organised and willing to develop accounting expertise.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prepare Chart of Accounts, Trial Balance and Profit & Loss statements.
