Accountant – Shared Services

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Shared Services team within Private Client Services. You will deliver a full range of accounting services for a large portfolio of private client entities, ensuring timely and high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update information in key systems, including bank statements, transactions, valuations and bookkeeping records.
• Prepare financial information such as trial balances, financial statements, liquidation accounts and client packs.
• Raise queries promptly and collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
• Escalate matters to senior team members and support client‑facing calls or meetings.
• Complete daily timesheets in line with provided guidelines.
• Adhere to core values and expected behaviours, performing any additional duties as required by management.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Good numeracy and solid IT competence.
• Partially ACCA qualified.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
