Accounts Assistant – Private Client

About the role

The Accounts Assistant will support the Private Client team by handling fund and bank statements, maintaining accurate records, and performing portfolio valuations. Working in a hybrid environment, you will collaborate closely with the Assistant Manager and Senior Manager to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Extract and download fund/bank statements from third‑party providers within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in key systems, including statements and investor notices for a portfolio of clients.
• Perform portfolio valuations and ensure accuracy before client submission.
• Prepare financial statement templates and carry out bookkeeping screening as required.
• Monitor the company mailbox, handling queries promptly and resolving issues in collaboration with team members or clients.
• Support the Assistant Manager and Senior Manager in workload management.
• Adhere to all operational guidelines, policies, procedures, and controls.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ICAEW) or a degree in accounting, business, mathematics, finance or economics.
• Good attention to detail, strong analytical and numeracy skills.
• 1‑2 years of industry experience.
