Analyst I – Risk Operations Centre

About the role

As an Analyst I in the Risk Operations Centre, you will be the frontline defence against fraud, working 24/7 to protect customers and ensure transaction integrity. You will use real‑time data and specialised monitoring tools to detect and respond to fraudulent activity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a standard workload of alerts and investigations, delivering accurate results within strict SLAs.
• Conduct routine analysis of transactional data to identify fraud trends and anomalies.
• Provide concise updates and case summaries to stakeholders, ensuring smooth handovers.
• Apply fraud monitoring tools and compliance policies to resolve routine cases independently.
• Identify daily inefficiencies, suggest improvements, and manage small‑scale projects.
• Participate in a 24/7 shift system (Panama Shift Model 2‑2‑3) covering days, nights and weekends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics or risk management with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong curiosity for pattern detection and prior exposure to credit‑card fraud or e‑commerce.
• Process‑obsessed mindset, constantly seeking workflow simplification and automation.
• Resilient under pressure, maintaining composure during high‑stress incidents.
• Professional fluency in English; French is a competitive advantage.
• Quick learner of new risk monitoring tools and complex internal systems.
