Assistant Level 1 - Cards Issuing

About the role

The Assistant Level 1 – Cards Issuing supports clients with a range of card‑related services, from activation and upgrades to credit limit adjustments. The role ensures that all card applications are processed accurately and comply with internal policies while delivering a friendly, customer‑centric experience.

Key responsibilities

• Contact clients to assist with card activation, upgrades, new card offers, and credit limit increases.
• Review and validate new card applications to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
• Provide a professional, friendly, and customer‑centric service experience.
• Perform outbound calls for issuing campaigns, including sales and declined transaction follow‑ups.
• Handle client queries, issues, and complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Apply knowledge of card and payment products when assisting clients.
• Use card management systems and e‑forms accurately.
• Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Support issuing initiatives, campaigns, and business activities as required.
• Assist at service counters and in back‑office operations when needed.

Required profile

• Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Two years of experience in a similar role or industry is an advantage.
• Strong verbal communication skills and confidence when engaging with clients.
• Clear and professional email writing abilities.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.
• Customer‑focused, organised, and attentive to detail.
• Positive team player with a collaborative approach.
