Assistant Manager Restaurant

About the role

The Assistant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving revenue at One&Only Le Saint Géran.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily restaurant operations and service standards.
• Handle guest greetings, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate staff; conduct briefings and monitor performance.
• Maintain health, safety, HACCP, and food hygiene compliance.
• Coordinate with the culinary team, manage reservations, special requests, and ensure accurate billing.
• Control operating expenses, inventory, and stock levels.
• Prepare operational reports and support special events and promotions.

Required profile

• 2-3 years experience as Assistant Restaurant Manager, Head Waiter or similar supervisory role.
• Previous experience in an international luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, guest relations, and complaint resolution.
• Fluent in English and French with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with restaurant POS systems.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office applications.
