Associate, Cost of Sales Operations – Interchange

About the role

We are looking for an Associate in Cost of Sales Operations focused on Interchange. You will translate complex scheme rules into actionable models, ensure data accuracy, and drive fee optimization for our global payments platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Interchange fee models by converting technical scheme rules into system‑ready mapping language.
• Perform rigorous reconciliation and analytical investigations to resolve financial mismatches.
• Identify and propose strategic optimization opportunities to reduce interchange fees.
• Coordinate cross‑functional implementation of scheme mandates and timely fee changes.
• Generate management reporting with tailored data visualisations for diverse audiences.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert on strategic projects impacting interchange operations and cost‑of‑sales efficiency.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in data analytics, revenue/sales operations, finance or a similar analytical role.
• Quantitative degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or related field.
• Strong understanding of Visa and MasterCard interchange fee rules (other schemes a plus).
• Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets, complex formulas, large data sets and financial modelling.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to spot anomalies and opportunities in raw data.
• Adaptable to fast‑moving, ambiguous environments and able to pivot quickly.

Required skills

• Google Sheets – advanced spreadsheet modelling and formula creation.
• Knowledge of Visa interchange fee rules.
• Knowledge of MasterCard interchange fee rules.
