Associate Executive - Regulatory & Compliance

About the role

This role supports the compliance function in preventing, detecting and responding to compliance, regulatory and ML/TF risks under the AML/CFT framework. It covers multi-jurisdictional KYC reviews, FATCA and CRS compliance support and client onboarding due diligence, with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct multi-jurisdictional KYC reviews, due diligence, sanctions and World-Check screenings, and account verification for compliant client onboarding and account maintenance.
• Manage KYC documentation, run file reviews and gap analyses, recommend remedial actions and keep client records accurate, complete and secure.
• Support FATCA and CRS compliance, monitor regulatory developments, draft and update Key Operating Procedures (KOPs) and respond to compliance queries.
• Deliver error-free work within agreed timelines, communicate risks or delays proactively and escalate issues with sound judgment.
• Collaborate with business teams, support and train junior colleagues, protect information assets in line with ISMS requirements and take on other compliance duties as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Law or an equivalent qualification; prior experience in a similar compliance role is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of KYC, AML/CFT, FATCA/CRS and international compliance frameworks, including FATF recommendations, Basel Committee standards and EU regulations.
• Able to identify compliance and risk issues, investigate and apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication in English and French.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with advanced-level skills.
• Ability to work accurately with compliance documentation and reporting.
