Senior Manager, Asset Manager Services (Private Equity & Real Estate)

About the role

Ocorian is hiring a Senior Manager for its Asset Manager Services (Fund) practice, covering Private Equity and Real Estate. You will lead the delivery of fund accounting services for a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact and overseeing a team of accounting professionals. The role is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fund accounting delivery for Private Equity and Real Estate clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and quality.
• Review NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, financial statements, management accounts, tax filings and reconciliations.
• Ensure client reporting, statutory filings and regulatory obligations are completed on time.
• Manage relationships with auditors, administrators and service providers.
• Lead, coach and develop the team, including performance management, succession planning and mentoring.
• Optimise processes, automate where possible and improve the use of fund accounting systems.
• Support business development, including proposals, onboarding of new clients and structures, and expanding existing relationships.
• Act as an escalation point for client, operational and team matters.

Required profile

• ACCA or ACA qualified; postgraduate qualification desirable.
• 10+ years of post-qualification experience, including significant experience leading fund accounting teams.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in financial services, accounting or audit, with exposure to global business operations.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Private Equity and Real Estate fund accounting; fund administration experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of PE and RE fund structures, financial reporting, waterfall calculations and IFRS.
• Systems knowledge of eFront, PAXUS and advanced Excel; Value Financials experience desirable.
• People management, stakeholder management, negotiation and commercial awareness.
