About the role
The Attorney will provide legal advice and representation to clients on commercial, corporate, financial services, and related matters within Mauritius’s unique legal framework. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Port Louis.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and review contracts and legal opinions.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case files and documentation.
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Negotiate on behalf of clients and liaise with regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement tailored legal strategies.
Required profile
- LLB or equivalent law degree; admission to practice law in Mauritius.
- Strong foundation in commercial, corporate, and financial services law.
- Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills in English.
- High professional integrity, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
