Bartender

About the role

The Bartender will support bar operations at Constance Le Chaland, delivering professional and timely service while enhancing guest experiences. The role requires a friendly, proactive attitude and strong communication with team members and management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present cocktails according to standardized recipes and creative presentations.
• Maintain sufficient stock levels, organise supplies, and assist with monthly bar inventory.
• Identify slow‑moving beverages and suggest new ideas to boost sales.
• Observe guest experiences, anticipate needs, and ensure high service standards.
• Monitor and report equipment conditions, arrange repairs, and uphold hygiene and safety standards.
• Participate in pre‑service briefings, handle opening and closing duties, and perform side work efficiently.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education; additional training or certificates in hospitality is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a hotel bar or similar environment.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal; additional language skills are advantageous.
• Punctual, well‑groomed, and able to work collaboratively in a team.
