Business Development Partner (Freelance, Commission-based)

About the role

We are looking for Business Development Partners in Mauritius on a freelance, commission‑based basis. You will market compliance, operations and AI platforms that help regulated organisations meet audit, regulator and board requirements. The role focuses on organisations that already need to comply with upcoming deadlines such as the OSH Act amendments, the revised MFRS regime and ISO/IEC 27001 adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Own a defined territory and manage a sales pipeline from prospecting to proposal.
• Qualify leads, present solutions and bring opportunities to the proposal stage, with founders supporting demos and technical scoping.
• Work independently on your own schedule, using provided CRM tools, sales collateral and pricing guidelines.
• Complete a structured onboarding week delivered by the founders to get up to speed quickly.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience selling B2B services or software in Mauritius, with an activatable network.
• Comfortable presenting to directors, HR heads, QHSE managers and IT leads.
• Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken.
• Ability to explain the value of a compliance platform without relying on a script.
• Self‑directed, able to set weekly goals and report on progress.
