Commercial Coordinator

About the role

We are a leading LSE‑listed drilling and mining services company seeking a Commercial Coordinator to independently manage small‑to‑medium bids across all regions. The role is based in Mauritius and operates in a hybrid/remote model.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end delivery of allocated bids, from receipt through final submission, following the Bid Management Process.
• Review RFT/RFQ/RFP documents, establish bid plans, timelines and compliance matrices, and track inputs from operations and functional teams.
• Draft client‑ready non‑technical sections (company overview, HSE, experience, methodology) using approved content.
• Conduct final quality checks, ensure compliance with mandatory returnables, pricing schedules and submission requirements.
• Support large and complex bids by preparing compliance registers, clarification logs and assisting the Pricing Lead.
• Identify commercial and contractual risks, flag missing approvals and maintain document control on SharePoint.

Required profile

• Strong written English with ability to produce client‑ready documents.
• Solid understanding of the tender lifecycle, bid governance and commercial terms.
• Excellent attention to detail for document control and quality assurance.
• Professional stakeholder management across multiple regions and time zones.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
