Compliance Officer

About the role

Grammont Management Ltd is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Compliance Officer to join its team in Quatre Bornes, Mauritius. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company’s compliance framework, ensuring that all business activities meet regulatory and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and update procedures accordingly.
• Perform internal compliance checks, audits, and prepare regulatory reports.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and support licensing and regulatory filings.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance matters.
• Collaborate with operational and finance teams to resolve compliance issues.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulators and external auditors.

Required profile

• Strong background in compliance management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical ability to interpret regulations and assess risks.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Good understanding of finance to oversee financial and administrative compliance.
• Relevant academic background in law, finance, business or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Experience in a regulated financial services or management‑company environment, preferably with international exposure.
• High integrity, attention to detail and sound judgment in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with compliance and document‑management systems.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and Word.
