Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

The Cyber Security Engineer will join DNS Technologies Ltd’s on‑site team in Plaine Magnien to design, implement and maintain security controls that protect client and internal systems, networks and data. The role combines proactive monitoring, vulnerability management and incident response to ensure a resilient security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain security controls across infrastructure and applications.
• Monitor security events using SIEM and EDR tools and respond to incidents promptly.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, analyse findings and coordinate remediation.
• Collaborate with network, infrastructure and development teams to embed security best practices.
• Support security audits, compliance activities and continuous improvement of policies and documentation.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging threats, technologies and advise stakeholders on risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks and best practices.
• Experience in network security, including firewalls, VPNs and secure architecture.
• Background in application security, secure coding, code review and hardening.
• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability assessment tools and remediation planning.
• Proficiency with security monitoring and incident response tools (SIEM, EDR, log analysis).
• Understanding of cloud security controls on major platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, Security+, CISSP) are a plus.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
