Data Analyst - Master Data Management

About the role

Aspen Global Incorporated (AGI), the Mauritian subsidiary of Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Limited, is looking for a Data Analyst to manage its master data within the ERP system. The role covers creating and changing master data, auditing it and supporting continuous improvement and Power BI projects.

Key responsibilities

• Create and change master data in the ERP system while keeping all stakeholders informed.
• Follow up cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders so that all steps of end-to-end master data management are completed.
• Report data inefficiencies and set measures to prevent repeated issues with data accuracy and integrity, ensuring items are correctly linked in the system.
• Establish a calendar of events for the master data audit and run monthly, quarterly and yearly audits, reporting findings and deriving an action plan.
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives, cross-functional projects and Power BI master data projects.
• Lead testing and training of continuous improvement initiatives and Power BI-related activities.
• Provide internal and external customer service, train new joiners and support existing MDM associates with technical and business knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• 3 years of work experience in a fast-paced business environment.
• Exposure to master data management and audit reporting is a definite advantage.

Required skills

• SAP and Power BI exposure is required.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Certification in Power BI is desirable.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
