Demi Chef De Partie

About the role

The Demi Chef De Partie will support daily kitchen operations for breakfast, lunch and dinner at One&Only Le Saint Géran. You will ensure cleanliness, food safety and timely preparation across all service areas.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general cleaning of all kitchen sections and work surfaces before and after each service.
• Label and store all foods in the fridge with date and product name.
• Receive, store and check quality of goods from dry store, deep freeze and vegetables.
• Communicate line‑up information to subordinates and report incidents to the supervisor or Chef.
• Conduct daily walk‑throughs to verify equipment condition.
• Monitor stock movement, place orders for your section and ensure FIFO rotation to minimise waste.
• Complete daily mise en place on time for all service periods.
• Follow all recipes provided by the Restaurant Chef for breakfast, lunch, pool bar snacks, beach, IRD, dinner and special events.

Required profile

• Punctuality and a positive attitude towards supervisors and colleagues.
• Good personal grooming in line with hotel standards.
• Commitment to maintaining HACCP food‑safety standards.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP standards and FIFO stock rotation.
• Ability to follow detailed recipes and maintain kitchen hygiene.
