Egocentric Video Data Collector (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking self‑motivated individuals to capture first‑person (egocentric) video footage of everyday activities. The recordings will be used to train next‑generation AI models and humanoid robots. You will work remotely, wearing a head‑mounted smartphone or smart glasses while performing routine tasks such as cleaning, organizing, or other household activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record raw POV video of meaningful daily tasks in a variety of environments.
• Wear provided head straps or smart glasses to keep hands and objects in view.
• Follow strict technical specifications, including stable lighting, landscape orientation, required resolution, and camera angles.
• Upload unedited video files and complete short metadata forms on the project portal within agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with the QA team and re‑record clips if initial submissions do not meet framing or duration standards.

Required profile

• Access to a modern smartphone capable of 1080p video at 30/60 FPS.
• Suitable residential or workspace environment for recording.
• Strong attention to detail to keep hands visible, avoid mirrors, and maintain steady framing.
• Privacy‑conscious: ensure no faces, personal IDs, or sensitive data are captured.
• Self‑starter able to commit 4–20 hours of usable footage over the project timeline.
