Engineering Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Maintenance Supervisor to lead the upkeep of One&Only Le Saint Géran’s facilities. The role involves planning, delegating and ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, while mentoring the maintenance team and maintaining high safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, delegate and follow‑up daily maintenance work, ensuring requests are completed on time and within budget.
• Register and prioritize maintenance requests, night‑shift reports and preventive‑maintenance programmes in the logbook.
• Supervise and train staff directly reporting to you, monitoring daily progress and quality of work.
• Provide regular feedback to the Assistant/ Maintenance Manager and coordinate projects as directed.
• Conduct preventive‑maintenance inspections of building systems, equipment, pipe and cable routing, control panels, electrical distribution panels, ducting, dampers and service trenches.
• Identify potential defects, propose corrective actions and ensure emergency situations are handled promptly.
• Maintain responsibility for tools and ensure compliance with fire detection, fire‑fighting and escape‑route procedures.
• Uphold safety standards in line with company guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising maintenance operations in a hospitality or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of building services, electrical systems and fire safety equipment.
• Ability to mentor staff, communicate effectively with management and act proactively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
