Executive - Financial Crime Control

About the role

This position supports the Financial Crime Control Unit by strengthening compliance, risk, and AML/CFT frameworks across the business. You will work closely with compliance leadership and key stakeholders to ensure regulatory expectations are met while enabling confident business delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support the review and implementation of group and local compliance and risk policies, procedures, and guidance.
• Conduct AML/CFT risk assessments across products, technology, and business practices within the Mauritius cluster.
• Provide day‑to‑day compliance and regulatory advice to client teams and internal stakeholders.
• Perform compliance monitoring, reviews, and investigations, and contribute to clear reporting for senior management and governance forums.
• Support regulatory training, STR reviews, third‑party reliance assessments, and broader risk management initiatives while adhering to information security standards.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, financial services, compliance, risk or a related field.
• Post‑graduate or professional risk qualification is an advantage.
• Experience conducting AML/CFT risk assessments and providing regulatory advice.

Required skills

• Knowledge of AML/CFT regulations and frameworks.
• Experience with compliance monitoring, investigations and reporting.
• Ability to interpret and apply risk policies across products and technology.
