Finance Analyst – Reporting & Data

About the role

We are looking for a motivated, detail‑driven Finance Analyst to join a high‑performing FP&A team that supports a pan‑African real‑estate portfolio. The role combines routine reporting tasks with increasingly complex analysis and business partnering as the team adopts AI and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and prepare accurate, timely financial reports across portfolio entities.
• Follow up with property managers, valuers and asset teams to obtain outstanding data and close reporting gaps.
• Maintain and improve Excel‑based reporting workbooks and models, using core formulas such as VLOOKUP and SUMIF/SUMIFS.
• Trace figures back to source, reconcile discrepancies and investigate anomalies.
• Automate and streamline reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Support monthly forecasting reviews and assist in the annual budgeting process.
• Assist with real‑estate asset valuations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in financial accounting or FP&A; real‑estate experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Ability to work independently, manage a demanding workload and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS and related formulas.
• Experience handling complex or ambiguous data issues independently.
• Analytical problem‑solving and investigative abilities.
