Finance Director – Mauritius

About the role

The Finance Director will lead financial operations for Publicis Global Delivery’s delivery centres in Mauritius and Morocco, acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership and ensuring financial sustainability, efficiency and compliance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning.
• Provide financial insights to support growth and decision‑making.
• Identify cost‑optimisation and performance‑improvement opportunities.
• Oversee statutory and management financial reporting, ensuring IFRS/GAAP compliance and data integrity.
• Monitor financial performance, KPIs and variance analysis; prepare internal reports for local and global stakeholders.
• Establish and enforce financial policies, controls and risk‑assessment processes.
• Manage internal and external audits and ensure compliance with local regulations and Group policies.
• Lead, coach and develop finance teams across both centres, driving performance management and continuous improvement.
• Partner with CFO, centre leads and delivery teams, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee cash‑flow and working‑capital optimisation and allocate financial resources efficiently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; Master’s (MBA) or professional certification (CPA, CA, CFA) preferred.
• 10+ years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in financial planning, reporting and strategy within multinational environments.
• Strong team‑management experience.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and GAAP.
• Advanced financial modelling, forecasting and analysis.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools.
• Advanced Excel skills.
