Financial Controller

About the role

Spoon Consulting Ltd is seeking a dynamic Financial Controller to lead its financial operations and support strategic decision‑making. The role is central to maintaining financial integrity, compliance, and efficiency as the company continues to expand.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and deliver regular forecasts for strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and international financial regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process to meet deadlines.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and controls.
• Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering continuous improvement and professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA qualification preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in financial roles, preferably within IT or consulting sectors.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (a plus).
• Knowledge of IFRS standards.
